Web OPAC
Search the Library catalogue and discover books and other physical resources.
The Web-OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) of the Central Library, IIT Patna allows users to conveniently search and access library resources online. Through Web-OPAC, users can:
- Search for library books and other materials
- Check the availability/status of books
- View New Arrivals
- Check their library account status
- View borrowed/issued books and due dates
- Check reservation details and fine information
- View their circulation history
How to Access Web-OPAC
- Users can access the Central Library Web-OPAC through the following link:
Web-OPAC: https://iitp.lsneo.in/
- After opening the Web-OPAC link, the following window will appear. Click on “Continue as Guest” and enter your name in the text box.
- This is a free-text field, so you may enter any word or name to proceed. Then click “Submit” to access the Web-OPAC and search for library resources.
- After opening the Web-OPAC, users can search for required library materials using different search options. Users can enter the required details in the search box and retrieve the bibliographic information and availability status of the material.
Important Note Regarding Login: Users are requested to follow the current login credentials/instructions displayed on the updated Web-OPAC portal. As the Web-OPAC system has recently been updated, the earlier login/password instructions may no longer be applicable to all users. In case of any difficulty in accessing the account, please contact the Central Library Circulation/Help Desk for assistance.
